We wouldn’t be where we are without these people sticking by us. We love you all, everyone.
They say that behind every strong man, there is a stronger woman supporting him. Well, if you couldn’t guess from her name, Andrea is the wife of our founder, and she is all that and then some. She is not an active participant in production (yet). She does, however, offer her critiques on performances and is involved in creative decisions regarding future conventions and games to be performed. But above all else, she works very hard to keep the home fires burning, make sure that Brian does exactly what he needs to do at all times, and see that their daughter, Brianna, doesn’t drive her crazy while the team is away at their shows.
Andrea, you are loved very much by this entire team. You are the glue that holds this all together. Thank you.
Before Sonic Whammy Enterprises, Greg Wicker’s 4 Randy Entertainment was the go-to group for game shows on the convention circuit, dating back to the original Anime Press Your Luck in 2004. He’s going stronger than ever today, touring the country with his vast array of classic and original programs. He serves as an executive consultant to our Anime Press Your Luck show, and continues to offer and exchange ideas with us as a sign of solidarity amongst game show fan panels.
As one of the webmasters of GameShowNewsNet, Gordon knows the game show business like few others do (even better than some who work in the field). He’s seen time and again what works on a game show, and isn’t afraid of speaking his mind when someone’s actions are less than intelligent. He has served as an executive consultant to Anime Press Your Luck and even appeared as a special guest host during its 2010 New York Anime Festival show. Revere his opinion, he knows what he’s talking about.
If you’ve read the story of our origin, then you know why these guys are here. Go see them, and if you can handle their brand of humor, your reward will be the strained voice you’ll have from laughing so hard at them.
As their name suggests, Florida Whammy Entertainment is part of the Anime Press Your Luck family, too. Led by Jon Nielsen and Bryan Espinoza, they produce game show panels primarily for Anime Festival Orlando, but they are broadening their horizons to other conventions as time goes on. And a special thank you goes out to Bryan for his assistance in getting us settled into our new home.
